Most of the images on Photos by Martin are available for
licensing. This
pages provides information on pricing and ordering procedures if you want
to license an image for purposes such as:
- Advertising, brochures or other
promotion of a product or service
- Newspaper or magazine editorial
- Web pages
- Text books, art books, CD covers, posters, and calendars
Ordering Procedures
Please complete to following procedures to license an image(s):
- Select the image(s) you would like to use
- Review the terms of use and pricing
guidelines below
- Complete the license request form
Please note that all images will be provided in high resolution digital
format, sized at 300dpi based on the
table below, and delivered in JPG format using compression level 10 and
Adobe RGB (1998) colorspace.

Terms of Use for Stock Photography
Please note the following important terms of use:
- I do not license images for free
- I don't grant photo use in exchange solely for credits or links back
to
my site
- Photo credit (Copyright Martin Wierzbicki) must be used for all
licensed images, except where expressly waived
- Web use must include photo credit that links to "photosbymartin.com"
- Student use (such as school reports) will probably get free use, but
requests and approvals are still required
Special-Case Licensing
Special-case licensing includes CD covers and computer-projected
presentations (e.g. PowerPoint) and other small uses:
- Special-case use
fees are generally $100/image
- Rates may be higher based on size,
placement and geographic target
- None of the tables below apply to special-case uses
- All special-case uses must include visible photo credit
Pricing Guidelines for Common License Requests
The tables below provide pricing guidelines for some of the most common
licensing requests. Please note that these tables are guidelines
only and final pricing is not established until final confirmation:
- Licensing reflects national and international distribution
- Rates are lower if distribution area covers a smaller region
- Prices listed are for one image on a one-time use basis
- Discounts available for multiple images and multiple uses
- Print circulations for over 1 million are negotiated on a
case-by-case basis
